This program is intended to expand the student’s theoretical and practical understanding of Applied Art and Design through the provision of essential knowledge, skills and practices in a wide range of disciplines. Graduates from the program should be readily employable in retail, leisure, heritage, education, housing, media and communication, product design and development and marketing industries. The certificate leads to a National Diploma in Fine Art after which students can pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Art.
